The BIBO Awards (Beauty In / Beauty Out) recently honored 12 women for their leadership and role model successes. Honorees included Calanit Atia (event entrepreneur), Marlene Richter (Executive director, Shade Tree), Beli Andaluz (entrepreneur), Lo’Rece Mebane (social worker), Hydeia Broadbent (AIDS activist), Dr. Daliah Wachs (family doctor and radio personality), Dr. Sandiee Peters (holistic healer) and Erica Korbel (student). Not shown: Lavetta Schneider (Mrs. Nevada 2014 and anti-bullying advocate), Christy Stevens (Hearts Alive Animal Shelter), Shelley Berkley (former US House Representative) and Senator Patricia Farley (Nevada Senator).

"Calanit is a former Israeli Air Force Veteran and is a very successful entrepreneur. She is the founder of A to Z Events in Las Vegas. Her awards include Las Vegas Business Woman Of The Year Nominee 2012 and the Distinguished Women in Nevada Award Recipient 2014
